SUBSIDIES
Available Subsidies
Exceleration was founded on the belief that quality sport programs should be available to everyone, regardless of background or financial means. This belief continues to inform our policies, programming, and cost structures. It is a stated club policy not to turn any child away for financial reasons and subsidies for all programs and events are available.
Exceleration offers subsidies to our athletes. Please contact our club administrator at admin@excelerationtriclub.ca, we assure you that your email will remain confidential.
There are a number of other community, Provincial and Federal subsidies available.
For athletes enrolled in our program through the Parks Board via ActiveNet you may be eligible for the Leisure Access Program (LAP) where you may receive 50% off one program per season. Families with low income status, or who are receiving funding from the ministry, or who have a child under 17 with a disability are encouraged to apply for LAP.
KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport British Columbia provides grants of up to $400 per eligible kid, per year (January 1st – December 31st) towards sport registration fees.
If the child needs equipment, we will make a referral to a partner agency. Grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; travel and competitions are not eligible for funding.
