This past Saturday (March 10, 2018), we had a number of athletes and a few old coaches do the UBC Triathlon.  The weather was beautiful, cool in the morning, perfect during mid-day.

In the Olympic Distance (109 Athletes) – 1500m Swim, 40k Bike, 10k Run

Peter Celler (former Cycling coach) – was 14th Overall, 13th Male, 3rd in his Division

In the Duathlon (30 Athletes) – 5km Run, 20km Bike, 5km Run

Lance Nose (former Running coach) – was 21st Overall, 15th Male, 1st in his Division

In the Sprint Distance (197 Athletes) – 700m Swim, 20km Bike, 5km Run

Emmajean Neal – was 16th overall, 1st Female, 1st in her Division

Kai Antle – was 34th overall, 28th Male, 1st in his Division

In the Short Distance (59 Athletes) – 400m Swim, 10km Bike, 5km Run

Grace Milley – was 2nd overall, 1st Female, 1st in her Division

Anna Gustafson – was 4th overall, 2nd Female, 2nd in her Division

Rebecca Wong – was 5th overall, 3rd Female, 3rd in her Division

In the Youth Distance <BC Games Qualifier> – 400m Swim, 10km Bike, 3km Run

Cami Hill (has trained with us over the summer) – 1st overall, 1st Female

Jade Clement (has trained with us over the summer) – 2nd overall, 2nd Female

Ben Wye – 3rd Overall, 1st Male

Marlo Naish – 4th Overall, 3rd Female

Joshua Staiger – 5th Overall, 2nd Male

Mackay MacIntosh – 6th Overall, 3rd Male

Isabella Wehner – 8th Overall, 5th Female

George Babyuk – 9th Overall, 4th Male

Shubham Mohapatra – 10th Overall, 5th Male

 

Unofficially Cami, Marlo, Ben, Joshua, Mackay, Shubham all qualified for BC Games.
