ALL ATHLETES in Adventure Tri and Kids Of Steel swim groups must meet the following criteria:

1) Swim 25 metres (use of pool noodle ok)

2) Self-save: 12.5m or a half-length (swim unassisted; any technique)

3) Tread water for 30 seconds

For non-swimming Adventure Tri (AdTri) athletes, we have  a FULL PRACTICE, with exciting dry land only activities to challenge and engage them! They will be challenged to improve their cycling skills, increase their stamina and continue to enhance their physical literacy. If your child cannot meet our swim requirements, register for this activity.

We will be holding swim assessments for all AdTri athletes registered in activities that include pool time. The assessment is mandatory for athletes who who have not passed swimmer 3 or previously been cleared by an Exceleration coach. Without assessment they will be moved to a no-swim activity.

SWIM ASSESSMENT DATE AND REGISTRATION TBA
